InVision Studio Fundamentals - Classic Development
Audience
This course is intended for programmers new to the Intervoice Development Studio - InVision Studio tool who will be responsible for creating and/or supporting an IQTalk touch tone or speech project.
Description
This five-day course is intended for programmers responsible for implementing InVision projects. The course material covers touch tone collection, single-item speech collection and error processing, GRXML grammar creation using Grammar Builder, use of translate tables, database access, text-to-speech, and the Intervoice Runtime Server software. The class will complete both a touch tone and speech recognition application as a group and then each student will complete an individual speech application from a completed design.
Prerequisites
- Familiarity with IVR Systems.
- One year programming in a computer language such as Java, C/C++/C#, Visual Basic, or COBOL.
- It is recommended that students involved with speech recognition complete the Voice User Interface Design course.
Objectives

Use the IQTalk windows to monitor and test an application.

Implement single item collection with the Speech Item form.

Create and execute simple touch tone and speech projects.
