IQTalk System Administration

Audience
This course is intended for personnel who monitor and manage Intervoice systems using InterSoft versions 2 and 3. Application programmers, resellers and project leaders will also benefit from the course.

Description

This three-day course provides an introduction to the Intervoice system. IVR administrative and operational tasks, performed locally on the IVR or remotely using pcAnywhere will be discussed. The culmination of the course is a hands-on practical application of administrative tasks scheduled for the afternoon of the last day of training. Flights should be scheduled accordingly.

Prerequisites

  • Basic Windows Operating System navigation skills.

Objectives

  • Identify the key components of an Intervoice IVR.
  • Use the Application Node Control to access and control the IVR.
  • Use the IQTalk windows to monitor and test an application.
  • Modify control files to change the way an application functions.
  • Modify the route table.
  • Identify platforms used to develop Intervoice solutions.
  • Use an internet browser to monitor and control an IVR.
  • Identify and explain the functions of the icons in the Intervoice Folder.
  • Describe the startup procedure for the IVR.
  • Describe changing the Isoft user password.
  • Modify system and application messages.
  • Use the YourVoice feature to create alternate messages.
  • Test host and database connectivity.
  • Describe and use Intervoice utilities for diagnostic purposes.
  • Identify system backup procedures.
  • Explain the actions taken by RealCare after a customer reports a problem.
  • Connect to an IVR using pcAnywhere.
  • Use pcAnywhere to perform administrative tasks remotely.
